| Information |
The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) was created by the signing of the ROM Act in the Ontario Legislature on April 16, 1912. The Museum actually opened its doors to the public at 3 pm on March 19, 1914, when His Royal Highness the Duke of Co naught dedicated what now forms the back wing of the present building.
Their collections include a gallery on Islamic Civilizations. Many of the objects reflect the dominant theme of the Islamic arts, as well as the Arabic Calligraphy. |
